Graham Roberts urges Tottenham 22-year-old to push on after win against Millwall
By Amir Mir
Graham Roberts has urged Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen to push on after he scored his first goal for the club from open play against Millwall in the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.
The 22-year-old was one of four goalscorers at White Hart Lane with Mauricio Pochettino’s side recording a comfortable 6-0 win against the League One outfit.
The win means that they have progressed through to the semi-finals of the competition with Arsenal and Manchester City the other names currently in the hat.
Dutch international Janssen came off the bench to score with the summer signing sweeping his shot past the opposition goalkeeper from inside the penalty area.
Former Spurs player Roberts was pleased for Janssen, who has struggled during his debut season at the club.

Janssen moved to England from Dutch outfit AZ Alkmaar last summer for a fee of £18.5million.
Despite the hefty fee for the youngster, he has struggled for the majority of this campaign, failing to show any consistent form which has resulted in fewer games for the player.
He has played 30 Premier League, Champions League, Europa League, FA Cup and EFL Cup matches for his side this season.
Janssen has started 13 of those encounters, scoring five goals for the club during that time and supplying three assists.
Striker Harry Kane went off injured during the early part of the cup clash against Millwall and Janssen could be the player to replace the England international in the starting line-up if he is out of action for some while.
