Guillem Balague posts Twitter message hailing Leeds duo
By Alex Stevens
Guillem Balague has hailed Garry Monk and Pep Clotet on Twitter for transforming the fortunes of Leeds this season.
The dynamic Elland Road managerial duo have steered a team who finished between 13th and 15th in the Championship in each of the previous five seasons to the brink of a play-off spot.
Leeds are fourth in the table as they turn their attention to maintaining their promotion charge with a tricky trip to top-six rivals Reading on Saturday.
Moreover, victory at the Madejski Stadium will give Monk the best win percentage of any Leeds manager in history, eclipsing the legendary Don Revie.
Sky Sports broadcaster and journalist Balague hailed the contributions of Monk and his No2 Clotet on his personal Twitter account as “two people that know what they are doing”.

Former centre-back Monk and Spaniard Clotet first teamed up at Swansea, where they steered the club to its highest-ever Premier League finish of eighth.
They have also made a huge impact at Leeds following a recruitment overhaul last summer that was secured on a shoestring budget.
The coaching duo have reaped the rewards of their signings and work on the training ground to mastermind an against-the-odds promotion push.
Monk has won 24 games of his 45 as manager in all competitions, to achieve a win percentage of 53.3, bettered only by Revie, who won 53.4 of his 740 games managed at Leeds.
In other Leeds transfer news, the club have sealed an out-of-window midfielder transfer.
