By Will Butcher

Hadi Sacko is unsure of the extent of the injury that saw him come off at half-time during Leeds 3-0 triumph against Rotherham at Elland Road, but hopes it’s nothing serious.

The 22-year-old was replaced by Ronaldo Vieira at the break, after suffering a knock during the first half against Leeds’ Yorkshire rivals.

Posting on his personal Twitter account, Sacko revealed that he had suffered a “little discomfort” but is not sure how long the knock will keep him out of action.

Sacko started on the right of an attacking Leeds lineup that included the likes of Kemar Roofe, Pablo Hernandez, Chris Wood and Souleymane Doukara.

Despite being lucky to go into the break at 0-0, the Yorkshire giants sprang to life after the restart with on-loan defender Kyle Bartley breaking the deadlock.

Top scorer Chris Wood then added a superb brace, with just 13 minutes separating the New Zealand international’s strikes. It sees the former Leicester hitman move on to 16 goals for the season.

On loan from Sporting Lisbon, Sacko has endeared himself to the Leeds faithful with a number of eye-catching performances on the flank. Using both his pace and skill, Sacko has become one of Leeds most creative assets this term.

Making 27 league and cup appearances this season, Sacko has scored twice and laid on another four assists since his move to Yorkshire.
