Harry Kane posts Twitter message after Tottenham win v Arsenal

Tottenham star forward Harry Kane has posted his delight on Twitter after scoring in Sunday’s north London derby victory over Arsenal.

Spurs were going into the Sunday afternoon match with the hopes of picking up all three points against Arsenal in their last ever meeting at White Hart Lane.

The fixture ended up going exactly as planned with goals from Dele Alli and Kane in the second half earning Mauricio Pochettino’s team a comfortable 2-0 win.

The Tottenham team were clearly delighted with the three points gained and after the match goal scorer Kane posted on his personal Twitter account that it was “great to win the last derby at the Lane and score the last goal.”

Kane’s goal on Sunday marked his 21st for the team in 26 Premier League appearances this season.

He has certainly played a huge part in Tottenham sitting four points behind league leaders Chelsea in the table and had he not missed periods of the season through injury Spurs may have been the club leading the table with four games to go.

The team will next take on West Ham at the London Stadium for the first time and they will be looking to achieve all three points against a Hammers side still not safe from relegation.
