Harry Kane: This is why Tottenham are so confident heading into 2017
By Emma Sanders
Harry Kane has claimed Tottenham are feeling confident at the moment because they have more players scoring goals.
Tottenham went through a patch of inconsistency when they picked up five draws in seven games throughout October and November but they have re-found their form in recent weeks.
They have scored nine goals in their last three fixtures, picking up three successive victories and they were comfortable 4-1 winners in Wednesday evening’s clash against Southampton.
“It is definitely good that everyone is scoring. It is a great boost and confidence in a squad when there is not just one or two players scoring goals but the whole team is contributing,” said Kane in The Independent.
“That is what we have at the moment. We have been scoring a lot of goals recently, we feel confident.”

Spurs netted four goals against Southampton in the mid-week Premier League clash and as well as Kane, Dele Alli and Heung Min-Son were also on the score-sheet.
Alli scored a brace to record his third goal in two games and Son added his sixth league goal of the campaign, with his last coming in the 5-0 thrashing over Swansea at the start of the month.
Tottenham currently sit in fifth place in the Premier League but are now just one point off a place in the top four as they trail rivals Arsenal.
Kane has already scored eight goals in 13 Premier League appearances this season and will be hoping to add another when Spurs take on Watford on New Year’s Day.
