Harry Kane sends passionate Twitter message to Tottenham fans after WHL finale

Tottenham striker Harry Kane has admitted it was a special feeling to score on the club’s White Hart Lane farewell on Sunday.
He 23-year-old star took to his personal Twitter account following the 2-1 win over Manchester United in the Premier League, to passionately thank the fans for their support over the course of the season.
Kane said: “What a way to finish at the Lane. Special feeling to score the winner. A day I will never forget. Thank you for your support this season.”

The clash against Manchester United was a landmark occasion, as it was Tottenham’s final game at their beloved north London home, marking a special day for Spurs players past and present.
Tottenham rose to the occasion to secure an impressive win over their Premier League rivals, with Kane etching his name in the history books with the last ever goal scored by a Spurs player at White Hart Lane.

Victor Wanyama had earlier given Tottenham the lead with a bullet header, meeting a cross from full-back Ben Davies, while Wayne Rooney found the back of the net for the visitors late into the second-half.
Kane has scored 28 goals and supplied six assists from 35 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham this season.
