Frank McAvennie has tipped Odsonne Edouard to rediscover his best form for Celtic after he scored a brace for France Under-21s on Monday night.
The Parkhead legend, speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs, hailed the “wonderful” 22-year-old who plays so effortlessly that he sometimes looks “as if he has just got out of bed”.
Edouard scored a brace in a 3-1 victory over Switzerland Under-21s on Monday as the French youth side booked their place in Euro 2021.

His 14th and 15th goals for France’s Under-21s took him two ahead of former Hoops teammate Moussa Dembele as the top scorer in their history.
For club, Edouard has scored just one goal in his last nine appearances and dropped to the bench for their most recent league game against Motherwell.
When asked by Football Insider if he expected Monday night’s performance to be a turning point in Edouard’s season, McAvennie said: “I think Edouard will kick on now.
“He is a wonderful player but he was trying too hard before the international break.
“As a striker, he is so important to the team. His confidence is based on goals.
“He looks so laid back sometimes you wonder if he has just got out of bed but what a turn of pace he has got.
“If he is on fire, if he is confident, there will be no hesitation from Lenny. He will put him straight in.”
