Hazard makes Tottenham admission after win against Crystal Palace

Tottenham icon Micky Hazard has admitted that he was “worried” about his old side getting a result against Crystal Palace at Wembley on Sunday.
Spurs earned a narrow 1-0 win against the Premier League’s basement boys thanks to a 64th minute goal from Heung-min Son and as it wasn’t the most convincing of wins, Hazard has shown that he was relieved after the game.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men moved back level on points with Manchester United in the table after they lost to Chelsea later in the day.
The win over Palace capped off a brilliant week for Tottenham after their historic victory against Real Madrid on Tuesday night that booked their spot in the last-16 of the Champions League.
However that win over the reigning European champions was what got Hazard nervous about the game against lowly Palace.

“Great three points to be honest, after Madrid was worried but we got them despite not at our best,” he said on his personal Twitter account on Sunday.

Tottenham now have a two week break before returning to Premier League action against bitter rivals Arsenal in what will no doubt be a passionate North London derby at the Emirates.
The Gunners will have a long time to stew over their 3-1 loss at Manchester City on Sunday which saw them stay sixth in the table.
