Hearts player ratings vs Falkirk – Cameron Devlin 9/10, Alexandros Kyziridis shines

Hearts edged closer to the Scottish Premiership title as they beat Falkirk 3-0 on Wednesday at Tynecastle.

The Jamobs took the lead just before the 30-minute mark as Frankie Kent directed a bullet header into the back of the net to ease the pressure of the Scottish Premiership leaders.

Their lead was soon doubled after the ball fell to Cameron Devlin in the box, who hammered a deflected shot into the net.

From here, Blair Spittal netted a late third to confirm the win and kept Hearts one point clear of Celtic at the summit.

Below, Football Insider has rated the players as Hearts took one step closer to the title.

Cameron Devlin runs the show vs Falkirk

Devlin has been outstanding all season for Hearts, and his performance against Falkirk continued this trend.

In midfield, he completely ran the show, as he halted numerous attacks from visitors, and he also proved to be a creative spark for the Jambos.

His goal was the icing on the cake, as his desire and determination allowed him to win the race to the ball before making it 2-0.

Overall, Devlin did not put a foot wrong and proved to be key to the win at Tynecastle.

Hopefully, this form will continue at Celtic Park on Saturday as both sides fight for the title.

Alexandros Kyziridis was Hearts’ creative spark

Another player who was simply superb for Hearts was Alexandros Kyziridis.

The winger caused all sorts of problems for Falkirk throughout, who had simply no answer for his creative vision.

His ball off the corner for the opener was simply superb, which allowed the hosts to control the game from there.

Kyziridis is perhaps unlucky not to have come away with more assists, as several shots went close after being played by the winger.

Like Devlin, hopefully this form will continue on Saturday in what could be the biggest game of Kyziridis’ career.
