Paul Heckingbottom has said that fans shouldn't read anything into the fact that Pawel Cibicki was axed from the squad to face Bristol City. The 24-year-old striker has had a tough time establishing himself in the Leeds first-team set-up since his move from Malmo in the summer. He's only made seven appearances in the Championship so far this season and is yet to register his first goal for the club. Paul Heckingbottom dropped him from the matchday squad for the game against Bristol City on Sunday, but talking in his pre-match press conference he confirmed that there was no bigger issue with the player. He said that there were no problems with Cibicki but wanted more defensive cover through Tyler Denton.

Denton didn't make it onto the pitch in a dramatic 2-2 draw with Bristol City after Leeds had gone two goals down in the first half. A second half comeback almost saw them steal all three points after goals from Pierre-Michel Lasogga and Kemar Roofe secured the home side a point. In other Leeds news,
