Henri Lansbury: This is what Aston Villa fans can expect from me
By Amir Mir
New Aston Villa signing Henri Lansbury has stated the club is getting a player who “wants to score goals”.
The club confirmed on Friday afternoon that the 26-year-old had made a switch from Championship rivals Nottingham Forest.
Lansbury joins a Villa side that is aiming to make an instant return to the Premier League, but they currently sit ten points off the top six.

The former Arsenal man has netted on six occasions this season, including at Villa Park earlier on in the campaign.
After joining the club, Lansbury provided an insight to supporters as to what they can expect from him.
“You are getting a passionate player,” said Lansbury, as posted by the club’s official Twitter account.

“You are getting someone who wants to score goals, wants to get in the box, wants to tackle, wants to do everything.”
Lansbury will now face competition for a midfield starting berth alongside Mile Jedinak, Aaron Tshibola, Gary Gardner and Ashley Westwood.
Steve Bruce’s side take on Preston North End on Saturday afternoon in front of their home supporters, looking to end their three-match losing run.
Former manager Paul Lambert and Midlands rivals Wolves inflicted a 1-0 defeat on Villa last time.
That loss added to the club’s away woes as they have only won two matches on the road during this campaign.
However, they are unbeaten at Villa Park, having picked up points against the likes of current Championship leaders Newcastle and promotion hopefuls Leeds.
A loss for Bruce’s men at the weekend can see them drop down to 16th in the table, but a win, depending on other results, could see them move into the top ten.
