'Some man', 'Never in doubt' - Celtic fans laud senior star after Sunday's official reveal

Celtic fans on social media have paid tribute to Hoops skipper Scott Brown, who was named as the club’s player of the year by his team-mates on Sunday night.

The Hoops mainstay, who has made 51 appearances this season, was given the prestigious honour at the club’s official player of the year awards, as reported by the club’s Twitter account.

The 32-year-old cleaned up at the awards, also being voted as as player of the year by the fans, and winning a special recognition award in honour of his 10 years with the Hoops.

Brown has been the Bhoys’ stand-out player this season, and it was no surprise to see him awarded so richly with a host of individual awards.

Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to Brown’s treble of trophies:

Brown led the Hoops to their first domestic treble in 16 years last season, and he is on the verge of leading his side to a repeat of that feat this campaign, with the Bhoys just one victory away from retaining their league title and also in next month’s Scottish Cup Final against Motherwell, having already picked up the Scottish League Cup.

They might not have been as flowing football wise as they were last season, but Brown has been a constant in the side and his performance levels have not dropped one bit over the campaign.

In other Celtic news, this Championship striker would be a good signing for the Bhoys
