On loan West Ham attacker Said Benrahma will sign for a Premier League club permanently in 2021, according to Kevin Campbell.
The former Arsenal and Everton forward, speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs, heaped praise on the “fantastic” 25-year-old after he impressed on his full debut for the the Irons last Friday.
David Moyes handed the Algeria international his first start for the club since completing a season-long loan move from Brentford on 5 October.
A loan-to-buy deal for Benrahma was placed in jeopardy when a medical uncovered a lung issue that concerned Hammers medics.
When asked by Football Insider if the club’s doubts over his physical state will have been quashed by recent performances, Campbell said:
“Whether it is West Ham or not, somebody is going to sign him in the Premier League, I can tell you.
“He is a greatly gifted player. You can see that he has fantastic ability on the ball. He can beat people with ease and he is only going to get better.
“The more he plays, the more he will understand his teammates around him. A few of the passes he was trying were not quite getting there but he will be a real thorn in opponents side this season.”
