Michael Brown has tipped Jack Harrison to become a “top” Premier League star if he continues his form at Leeds United this season.
The former Leeds and Tottenham midfielder, speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, has been left raving over the 23-year-old’s “excellent” start to life in the Premier League.
The Manchester City winger, who is into his third-successive loan spell at Elland Road, has been a mainstay for Marcelo Bielsa and has missed just one game when he was ineligible to face his parent club.
He has chipped in with one goal and two assists and has been a constant threat for the Whites down both flanks.
Brown has lauded the Stoke-born forward and has insisted he is one to watch in the Premier League.
Brown told Football Insider: “I think Harrison’s been excellent, very impressed with him.
“He’s getting better and better, he’s certainly one on the Richter scale to say keep watching him, he’s really impressed me to be honest, I think he’s doing brilliant.
“I just think he’s got to continue playing as best he can for Leeds and just keep getting better and better, becoming a real regular and a top performer in the Premier League.”
Harrison has a total of 97 appearances under his belt for Leeds to date and is battling with the likes of Helder Costa, Raphinha and Ian Poveda for a place in the starting XI.
He has never featured for Manchester City’s senior side but previously spent time out on loan at New York City and Middlesbrough.
In other Leeds United news, Noel Whelan has been left buzzing after a major Andrea Radrizzani reveal.
