Aston Villa right-back Alan Hutton is second most likely to be the next Leeds United signing, according to a report.
Football Whispers claim that the defender is firmly in the running to end up at Elland Road in the summer transfer window.
Hutton, 33, has been a regular for Villa this season but his contract expires in June and he has yet to be offered an extension.
Football Whispers, which gathers all transfer rumours across the globe and calculates the likelihood of them happening, rates it 2.6 out of 5 that Hutton will join Leeds, with five the highest possible ranking and meaning it is a certainty.
He is behind only Stevenage centre-back Ben Wilmot (2.9) in the rankings, with Brighton forward Tomer Hemed (2.5) placed in third.
Football Insider verdict:
Steve Bruce has spoken warmly of Hutton this season and has continued to select him, with the veteran full-back starting 25 Championship matches, an impressive return for a player who turns 34 in November. Moreover, the former Tottenham man has spent the second half of the campaign in the less familiar left-back position. Given the defensive travails of Leeds this season, Hutton would represent a solid signing, a player with the experience, nous and class to avoid the mistakes which litter the performances of Gaetano Berardi, Laurens De Bock and company.
In other Leeds United transfer news, the club have agreed the terms of an £8.5million deal, with the first payment scheduled for the summer.
