Paul Robinson is adamant that West Ham, Aston Villa and Everton target Josh King will leave Bournemouth before tomorrow’s transfer deadline.

The 41-time England international, speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs, claimed his former Blackburn Rovers teammate could be a “great part of the armoury” at the London Stadium given his versatility.

Football Insider revealed earlier today that the Hammers plan to make a fresh move for the Norway international after his asking price was slashed to £15million.

King, who has entered the final 12 months of his contract at the Vitality Stadium, was the subject of rejected £13million bid from David Moyes’s side earlier this week .

Football Insider understands that Everton have also joined the race for the forward who has held talks with Aston Villa and rejected a move to West Brom this month.

When asked by Football Insider for his assessment of King’s future, Robinson said:

“Josh King would give West Ham another great option but I am not sure whether he gets straight into their starting eleven.

“He can play wide as well though, that is where Josh started off at Manchester United. I know that he prefers playing through the middle and he is very capable in that position.

“He is a great part of the armoury to have if you like because he can play across the front line. He is a very versatile attacking player.

“I certainly do not expect him to be at Bournemouth come the end of the window.”

In other West Ham news, Robinson has told Football Insider that new signing is “not in the same league” as summer target after huge bid.
