Ian Holloway gives his verdict on outcome of Leeds clash v Fulham

By Amir Mir

Ian Holloway has predicted Leeds to suffer more misery and lose their home clash against Fulham on Tuesday evening.

Sky Sports pundit Holloway believes Garry Monk’s side will still be searching for their first win of the season, following defeats against QPR and Birmingham in their opening Championship fixtures.

The Yorkshire club has signed nine players this summer, most recently Sunderland midfielder Liam Bridcutt on a two-year deal on Tuesday morning.

But Holloway believes the former Swansea manager needs time to adapt as he predicts a 2-1 win for Slavisa Jokanovic’s side.

“For Garry Monk, it has been a difficult start,” said Holloway in his Sky Sports column. “But it was always going to be with all those new signings bedding in and Garry trying to get across a different style of football.”

“I predict there will be more disappointment for them tonight with Fulham continuing their excellent start to the season.

“Unfortunately for Leeds, it’s the wrong time to be playing Jokanovic’s side!”

Fulham have been the surprise packages of the Championship season so far having beaten promotion favourites Newcastle on the opening day of the season, then overcoming Preston away from home.

In the latest Leeds team news, this is how Gary Monk’s side will line-up in their home game against Fulham on Tuesday night.
