Danny Mills suggested Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara may be tempted to move to a Premier League club.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Laura O’Leary, the former England international admitted if you get an opportunity to play in the Premier League then you take it.
It was reported that Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brighton, Crystal Palace and Burnley, as well as Championship high-flyers Leeds United, were all tracking Kamara.
Mills explained that any move to the Premier League is massive and added this wasn’t just because of financial reasons, but because the league gives you the chance to showcase all of your talents.
When asked if having several Premier League teams, especially Arsenal, keen on his services could see Kamara’s head turned, Mills told Football Insider: “Without a doubt.
“Any move to the Premier League is massive, it’s not just about money, which will be an attractive sum, but it’s also about kudos.
“That’s huge, a massive part of it.
“And it’s the most competitive league in the world, it gives you the opportunity to showcase everything you’re about.
“So if you get the opportunity to move to the Premier League, without a doubt you take it.”
Kamara has featured 29 times across all competitions this season for the Gers, racking up one goal in the process.
The 24-year-old midfield enforcer arrived at Ibrox after joining the Gers from Dundee FC in January 2019 and is contracted to stay with Steven Gerrard’s side until 2023.
