West Ham full-back Arthur Masuaku has confirmed that he will be fit to face Tottenham at the London Stadium on Friday night.

The 23-year-old admitted that a slight injury saw him forced off at half-time in West Ham’s goalless draw with Stoke on Saturday.

However the Hammers faithful will be delighted to know that Masuaku has confirmed that it was nothing too serious and he should be able to take part in this week’s all-London affair.

“Thanks West Ham fans for your support, have a safe trip back home,” the left-back said to the fans on his personal Twitter account after the Stoke game.

“A slight injury forced me out today [Saturday]. I'm ok and ready for next week”

Aaron Cresswell replaced Masuaku at half-time and Slaven Bilic’s side looked notably worse in the Frenchman’s absence.

However they still managed to grind out a point in a fixture that was largely influenced by the two in-form goalkeepers.

Masuaku has made 15 appearances for the Irons across all competitions in his first season at the club since signing from Champions League regulars Olympiakos last summer.

West Ham are under a great deal of pressure to salvage what has been a dreadful season by their lofty standards.

Bilic’s side are currently 15th in the Premier League standings with three games to go, although a top-half finish is not entirely out of the question are they are just five points behind eighth-placed West Brom.
