Aaron Cresswell is set to miss West Ham's Premier League clash against Southampton on Monday, according to the son of chairman David Sullivan. The left-back has been an ever-present in the Premier League this season and scored the Hammers' only goal in their 1-1 Boxing Day draw against struggling Aston Villa. But Cresswell limped off after 75 minutes to throw his participation in Monday's match against Southampton at Upton Park into doubt. Jack Sullivan, the son of West Ham's co-chairman David, responded on Twitter on Sunday afternoon to a question from a supporter about Cresswell's fitness. Asked if Cresswell is injured or not, Sullivan confirmed that he was but that it was only a minor problem. "Looks unlikely for tomorrow, but it should be small!" he wrote.

Cresswell has started all 18 of West Ham's Premier League matches this season as he continues to enhance his reputation as one of the more consistent left-backs in the top flight.
He ended the Hammers' 390-minute goal drought on Boxing Day when he scored his first goal of the season in first-half stoppage time against bottom-club Villa.
