Insider: Rodon has 'no future at Tottenham' as they're told to accept '£13m' bid
Joe Rodon could ask to leave Tottenham in January after failing to make the matchday squad for his side’s postponed clash with Burnley.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
This came after he was hauled off after 55 minutes in Spurs’ shock loss to Mura on 25 November.
Wenham insists it is “damning” that Davinson Sanchez, who was heavily criticised for his performance against Mura, was selected ahead of Rodon.
“Rodon not starting ahead of Sanchez was damning,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“Despite Sanchez playing poorly against Mura, Rodon was subbed off in that game and wasn’t involved in the squad at Burnley.
“He hasn’t started a league game all season. It’s not looking good for him.
“I think he will be looking for a move in January. There are reports about loan deals.
“But if we were offered the £13million we paid for him, I would sanction that deal.
“Players like Tanganga are ahead of him and better than him.
“He needs to go out and play but I just don’t see a future for him at Tottenham.”
Rodon has made one league appearance this season.
He replaced Eric Dier after he picked up an early injury against Crystal Palace on 11 September.
