Insider: There is no way back for 'childish' Ndombele - he's 'burned all bridges' at Tottenham
Tanguy Ndombele has burned all of his bridges at Tottenham following his “childish” and “amateur” actions against Morecambe.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Ndombele, 25, was handed a rare start against Morecambe in the FA Cup on Sunday (9 January).
He was subbed off in the second half and was booed by fans as he took his time getting off the pitch with his side 1-0 down.
Wenham was left raging by the midfielder and insists there is no way back for him.
“Ndombele’s performance was nothing great,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“He wasn’t particularly poor, he just went through the motions. But this is our record signing.
“He is earning £200,000 every week, you need to be able to stamp your authority in a game against Morecambe.
“When he was subbed off, the other two subbed players ran off the pitch. They realised they had to get off the pitch.
“Ndombele was prehistoric, he walked off at a snail’s pace and he was quite rightly booed.
“I want to make this very clear. He wasn’t booed for his performance, though that wasn’t great, he was booed because he took an age getting off the pitch.
“It was unacceptable, he even seemed to slow down when the boos came. It was amateur and childish.
“He has burned all of his bridges here, there is no coming back for him.”
Ndombele has made seven appearances since Antonio Conte arrived at the club.
However, only three of these have been starts.
