West Ham have agreed terms over their first transfer swoop this summer as the Hammers make a flurry of transfer bids following Manuel Pellegrini’s arrival as manager, according to a club insider.
Twitter account ExWHUemployee, an Irons insider who has proven themselves as a reliable and reputable source surrounding goings on at the London Stadium, has claimed that there is already a deal in place over one new recruit while there are offers on the table for several others.

The Hammers let David Moyes depart from his short-term stint in the dugout at the end of his contract and brought in former Manchester City boss and Premier League title winner Pellegrini in as his replacement, having left managing in China days before.
Football Insider verdict
With a shortened Premier League transfer window this summer, cut from the end of August until the beginning of the month, there will be no waiting around for deals to come around, and clubs will be wanting to get their business done early, especially with the World Cup just around the corner. It looks as though West Ham have already got the ball rolling just a week after welcoming Pellegrini and he is wasting no time in trying to sort out the squad he has inherited. Of course, there will be much intrigue as to who comes in and who leaves the London Stadium this summer, but with so much rivalry between Premier League sides when it comes to transfer targets, the Irons will be wanting to keep as much of their business under wraps to avoid another club hijacking their deal. Fans will just have to wait and see who is coming through the door, but it sounds as though it could be done sooner rather than later.
In other West Ham transfer news, the club have been handed a blow in their pursuit of a proven Premier League powerhouse.
