'It just hasn't worked' - Exclusive: Pundit expects big name exit after Spurs medical news
Danny Mills has tipped Tanguy Ndombele for a Tottenham exit as Pierre-Emile Højbjerg transfer looms.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs, Mills delivered his verdict as Tottenham look set to begin their transfer business.
Sky Sports are reporting that Højbjerg has passed a medical ahead of a signing a four-year deal.
Football Insider understands the deal will total £45m including wages. Tottenham will look to sell some players in an attempt to balance the books.
Former England full back Mills believes Ndombele may be at the top of the list of outgoings.
He said: “It appears that Ndombele time has been up for a long time hasn’t it.

“There’s been lots of things that have happened since he’s been at the football club. Mourinho seems like he’s tried to help him at times and the club have tried to help him, but it just hasn’t worked.
“The fit just hasn’t been right for Ndombele. He could well be one that gets moved on.
“When you look what Mourinho wants in that midfield area you’re looking at Sissoko, you’re looking at Højbjerg coming in there.
“Spurs have enough and knowing that they’re not awash with cash and have to balance the books. You would assume that anybody that comes in would have to be balanced by one or two going out.”
Ndombele featured 29 times in his debut season in North London.
Southampton stripped Højbjerg of the captaincy in March as speculation about a move away grew.
He made 38 appearances for the Saints this season and 134 in total.
