Paul Robinson claims “top talent” like Real Madrid’s Isco will want to join Everton in 2021 to play with the likes of James Rodriguez, Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs, the former Spurs and Leeds United goalkeeper said the Toffees were an attractive proposition with Carlo Ancelotti at the helm and a new stadium in the pipeline.
The Daily Mirror claim Isco, 28, is keen to reunite with his former boss Ancelotti and former team-mate Rodriguez at Goodison Park next year.
The Spain international has fallen out of favour at the Bernabeu and it is reported that the La Liga giants will consider sending him out on loan in January.
A heavy summer of spending saw the Toffees sign James Rodriguez from Real Madrid and Allan from Napoli – both of whom worked under Ancelotti at their previous clubs.
When asked by Football Insider for his thoughts on a potential move for Isco in January, Robinson said:
“It shows how far the club has come in the time Ancelotti has been there.
“Everton are a different proposition in the transfer market with Ancelotti in charge.
“The players that he has signed already, especially in the midfield will attract others. Top talent will want to play with the likes of Rodriguez, Allan, Doucoure and Richarlison.
“You can see what Ancelotti is trying to build, trying to do and with the new stadium on the horizon Everton would be a fantastic club to be a part of.”
