'I've seen Bielsa down at Man City' - Exclusive: Pundit claims multiple Leeds deals in offing
Michael Brown suggests multiple Leeds United-Manchester City deals could be in the offing as he shared insight into the close relationship between Marcelo Bielsa and Pep Guardiola.
The former City and Leeds star, speaking exclusively to Football Insider assistant editor Russell Edge, revealed he has regularly spotted the Argentine at Etihad Stadium.
Polish journalist Thomas Smokowski, speaking to Kanale Sportowym and relayed by Sport.pl, claims that the clubs are working together on a deal which would see Legia Warsaw left-back Michal Karbownik signed by the Citizens and sent on loan to Elland Road.
The 19-year-old is said to be a man in demand, with the likes of PSV Eindhoven, Club Brugge and Sporting CP all said to have submitted offers for the Polish talent.
City and Leeds have done business with each other in three of the last four transfer windows, with Jack Harrison joining the Whites on loan twice and Ian Poveda signing permanently in January.
With the summer transfer window around the corner, Brown believes that Guardiola will do what he can to assist Bielsa in whatever way he can.

Brown told Football Insider: “Get Manchester City to buy him and then loan him to you – brilliant. Two clubs I know well, obviously.
“I’ve seen Marcelo Bielsa down at Manchester City, I’ve seen him down there a couple of times and he is close with Pep.
“Any way they can help, I’m sure they will and Pep will try and do that.”
Karbownik has played 24 times for Legia Warsaw’s senior side after breaking through the club’s youth ranks.
Bielsa has used Stuart Dallas as his first-choice left-back this season, with Ezgjan Alioski and Barry Douglas acting as backup.
In other Leeds United news, Noel Whelan has savaged a proposal over the club’s season after a senior chief’s major reveal.
