Jadon Sancho: Man United star must make public apology to play again
Jadon Sancho must make a public and private apology in order to be restored to the Man United squad, sources have told Football Insider.
The winger, 23, has fallen out with manager Erik ten Hag after a public clash played out in the media.
Earlier this month, Ten Hag claimed the England international was left out of the squad which lost 3-1 at Arsenal on 3 September due to below-par training performances.
The winger hit back on social media in a post which has since been deleted, claiming he has been a “scapegoat” for a long time at the club and insisted he has conducted himself “very well” in training.
Man United confirmed via a statement last week (14 September) that Sancho will train away from the first-team group “pending resolution of a squad discipline issue”.
Prior to the bust-up, the England international had made three substitute appearances in the 2023-24 campaign.
