James Maddison has welcomed Mathys Tel to Tottenham after he was confirmed as a new member of the club.

Spurs officially unveiled the 19-year-old on deadline day after they beat Man United to his signature on a loan deal until the end of the season.

The France Under-21 forward was highly in demand during the January transfer window, making the signing a real coupe for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Tel has made 83 appearances for Bayern Munich since joining the Bundesliga giants in 2022, scoring 16 goals and providing seven assists.

The versatile forward is Tottenham’s third signing of the January transfer window, with the club also signing Kevin Danso and Antonin Kinsky.
