Vincent Janssen gives Twitter update on condition after being punched by Liverpool player
By Emma Sanders
Vincent Janssen has revealed that “everything is alright” after he was accidentally punched in the head by SImon Mignolet on Wednesday evening.
The Tottenham striker came off second best and was concussed after a 50/50 with the Liverpool goalkeeper during the 1-1 draw between Holland and Belgium in Amsterdam.
Janssen was forced to come off after just 25 minutes after Mignolet punched the striker during an aerial duel.
However, Mignolet apologised to the Spurs star on Twitter and claimed his punch was completely accidental.

Nevertheless, Janssen may be forced to sit out Holland’s important World Cup qualifier against Luxembourg on Sunday.
The Tottenham star has already made 10 appearances for his national side and has played 11 Premier League games for Mauricio Pochettino’s side this season.
Liverpool and Tottenham are both rivals in the English top flight because the two teams are in the running to win the league title after the opening 11 games.
Earlier this season, the two sides drew 0-0 at White Hart Lane and Mignolet and Janssen both featured, though neither were injured in that game.
