Jarrod Bowen tipped to sign bumper deal amid new Liverpool claim - Agbonlahor
Gabby Agbonlahor has insisted Jarrod Bowen will sign a new contract at West Ham as David Moyes looks to fend off potential suitors.
The former Aston Villa striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed no top-four side will come in for the 25-year-old this summer – making a new deal a “no brainer”.
This site revealed on 14 May that West Ham are planning to open contract talks with Bowen within weeks as they look to ward off his growing list of admirers.
It is understood that Liverpool and another top-four Premier League side are keeping tabs on the forward, whose current deal expires in June 2025.
Bowen has notched 18 goals and 13 assists across all competitions for West Ham this term.
Agbonlahor suggested the Premier League’s “top clubs” will look elsewhere during the summer window.

“Jarrod Bowen has done very, very well,” he told Football Insider‘s Connor Whitley.
“However, I don’t see him at a top club. Certainly not Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, or Spurs.
“I feel like they’ll all be looking at better players. It’s the first season where he’s had a really good return of goals.
“I’m sure teams will be wanting to see him do it again over a number of seasons. West Ham will probably offer him a decent increase in wages in order to get him to stay.
“I think he’ll stick around. He should really get into the England squad if he stays fit and keeps scoring goals. It’s a no-brainer for now.”
The former Hull man is nominated for the top-flight’s Player of the Season award after his terrific campaign.
Seventh-place West Ham are set to play Europa Conference League football next term.
