Tottenham fans react on Twitter after striker recall confirmed
By Danny Wright
Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to express their delight as Mauricio Pochettino confirmed that Harry Kane will be back in the squad against Watford.
The 23-year-old has missed four weeks of action since suffering an ankle injury in the FA Cup win over Millwall and many fans were worried that it could seriously derail any hopes of winning silverware this season.
Kane’s recovery has escalated to the point that some fans are comparing his return to the Easter resurrection of Jesus.
Injury expert Ben Dinnery quoted Pochettino as saying on Friday on his personal Twitter account: “I haven’t decided yet if Kane will be in the starting XI or on the bench but the good thing is that he’s back.”
Tottenham go in Saturday’s clash at White Hart Lane seven points behind league leaders Chelsea.

Both teams have eight games left to play in the Premier League and following Chelsea’s slip-up against Crystal Palace last week, there is still a chance that Spurs could lift their first league title since 1960/61.
Kane has been critical to their campaign, scoring 24 goals in 29 appearances across all competitions. However Tottenham have managed to win every game in his absence.
Supporters are happy that he is back, but some are questioning whether he should be able to force his way back into a winning side.
Here is a selection of tweets from Spurs fans about Kane’s return:
