Saiz had a good season for Huesca in La Liga 2, scoring 12 goals and adding eight assists in 40 games.
He joined them from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2015, and now looks set to add his goals to Leeds’ promotion push for a fee said to be around the £3m mark.
A number of top-flight Spanish clubs were interested in signing him this summer but Thomas Christiansen looks to have pipped them to the post.
He would become Leeds’ seventh signing of the summer after Vurnon Anita, Felix Wiedwald, Mateusz Klich, Madger Gomes, Pontus Jansson and Hadi Sacko also agreed permanent deals.
In other Leeds transfer news, the Whites have confirmed that this young goalkeeper has signed a new three-year deal with the club.
