Now that Wolves have the Championship trophy in their hands, Nuno Espirito Santo will surely start looking to the summer transfer window to start improving his squad for the Premier League.
The West Midlands club will be in need of adding strength all over the pitch and if they are to be a success in the Premier League, they must go out and add proven top-flight talent.
One player that Nuno must absolutely seal a swoop for in the summer is Lille attacker Anwar El Ghazi, who is reportedly being offered out by his agent Jorge Mendes.
Mendes has major connections at Molineux and could definitely tempt the Netherlands international to ditch north France and head to Wolverhampton.
Prominent Italian journalist Raffaele Auriemma has previously claimed that Mendes has been seeking a transfer for El Ghazi, and has been quoted by Calcio Napoli 24 as telling Radio CRC in January that the 22-year-old winger has been offered to Napoli manager Cristiano Giuntoli.
It was understood that the Dutchman was valued at £10.5million, which will surely be within Wolves’ transfer budget in the summer and with him dropping down the pecking order at Lille in recent weeks, he may want a move.
El Ghazi, who is known for his pace and dribbling attributes, has made 28 appearances in all competitions for Lille, scoring four goals and supplying four assists in the process.
Having him in the squad would be a major boost for Wolves going into the Premier League and if he’s good enough to be offered to Napoli, then he’s more than good enough for Nuno.
In other Wolves news, Wanderers are likely to sign this £95,000-a-week Tottenham player in the summer.
