Leeds United scouts were in attendance at the under-23 clash between Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United on Monday, according to a journalist.
Jeorge Bird, who has written for Squawka and The Guardian and currently runs the Arsenal Youth blog, has claimed on his personal Twitter account that a scout from the Whites was watching on during the Premier League 2 clash, in which the Gunners ran out 4-0 winners against their top flight rivals.

Leeds have already seen three new faces through the door in January and had an official on hand to scout out some more potential talents, with Arsenal’s young forward Eddie Nketiah netting a double in the last 10 minutes to put the icing on the cake for the Gunners’ win.
Football Insider verdict
There is every chance the Leeds scout is keeping an eye on potential talents for the future, with many of those at United and Arsenal never going to make the grade for the first team. However, there could be a chance that they have spotted a potential talent available for loan, or even a permanent swoop, and are running the rule over him before making a move. The Whites have had limited success with temporary deals this season, especially when it comes to the capture of Cameron Borthwick-Jackson from Manchester United, so they will be hoping for more if they do make another loan move.
In other Leeds United transfer news, one of the club’s current attackers is being line up for an exit this month.
