Leeds United fans have been left devastated on social media after news that attacking star Samuel Saiz has picked up a calf strain which ruled him out of the club’s clash with Hull City on Saturday.
The Yorkshire Evening post’s Phil Hay stated via his personal Twitter account that the Spanish forward, who was replaced by Pablo Hernandez in the starting line up for Thomas Christiansen’s only change from the win over Norwich City, had suffered an injury ruling him out of the match against the Tigers.

Saiz has been a crucial member of the Leeds squad this season, the 26-year-old having appeared in all but two of the club’s league matches this season.
In his 19 outings he has scored five goals and chipped in with a further five assists, and has not failed to appear since the end of September, starting the last 12 games for the Whites.
