Journalists react on Twitter after Liverpool unveiling
By Alex Taylor
Liverpool have completed work on the new Main Stand at Anfield, and journalists have given their reaction to the improvements on Twitter.
An array of different media outlets were given a special tour of the new stand ahead of its official opening at 11pm on Friday.
The Merseysiders have played their first three Premier League fixtures away from home this season as work was being completed on the new stand.
The upgraded facilities come as part of a £260million development scheme for the whole of the Anfield area and supporters have now been given a sneak peak at the facilities ahead of their first home clash of the season against Leicester on Saturday evening.
Some journalists showed off the new stand’s decor while others were blown away by the views from the top.

The improvements will see Liverpool’s famous ground increase its capacity to house 54,000 fans.
The development brings the Reds home stadium in competition with a number of other Premier League stadiums.
Manchester United’s Old Trafford can house 75,000 supporters, while Arsenal’s Emirates home can seat in excess of 60,000 fans.
Klopp’s side currently sit 11th in the Premier League after picking up four points from their first three fixtures against Arsenal, Burnley and Tottenham this season.
