Jurgen Klopp 'pulling his hair out' at Liverpool after Jordan Henderson reveal - pundit

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will be “pulling his hair out” at his side’s inconsistency, according to Kevin Campbell.

The former Arsenal and Everton striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, suggested “complacency is setting into the squad” at Anfield.

The Reds finished their Champions League group stages with a 2-0 win over Napoli on Tuesday (1 November).

Liverpool are the only team to beat Napoli, Man City and Newcastle United this season.

However, they have lost to Nottingham Forest and Leeds United in their previous two Premier League fixtures.

Speaking to club media (1 November), Jordan Henderson revealed he has been “so disappointed with recent form”.

When asked by Football Insider for his assessment of Liverpool’s form, Campbell said: “There are questions being asked.

“Jurgen Klopp must be pulling his hair out.

“When Liverpool played Man City I knew we would see a good Liverpool turn up. That team did not play against Nottingham Forest or Leeds at the weekend. It was not the same team.

“Why is there such big swings in performance? Jordan Henderson knows that’s not right.

“Is there a complacency setting in? Or are they struggling to get up for games? It is easy to get up for Man City at home. But Brighton and Leeds at home, you are expected to win.

“I wonder if complacency is setting into the squad. They do not have the same appetite to beat these teams.”
