Milos Kerkez caught the attention of his Bournemouth teammates as the defender sent a new message on social media.

The 21-year-old has notched two goals and six assists across two campaigns with the Cherries, seeing several clubs take an interest in the full-back's development on the south coast.

Football Insider reported in March that Liverpool were seriously eyeing a move for Kerkez, with the Hungarian now expected to join Arne Slot's side along with Jeremie Frimpong.

Andoni Iraola has done an incredible job at the Vitality Stadium since arriving in the summer of 2023, but the Spaniard could be left without several key stars following Dean Huijsen's move to Real Madrid.

While there has been little movement on Kerkez's potential move to Anfield, the player has recently sparked rumours once again of a reunion with international teammate Dominik Szoboszlai.

Milos Kerkez expected to leave Bournemouth for Liverpool

Taking to Instagram (29 May), Kerkez wrote: "2024/25," with tick and prayer emojis, signing off on a brilliant campaign for the Hungarian defender.

His teammates flocked onto social media to like the post, including Alex Scott, Justin Kluivert, Huijsen, Evanilson, James Hill, and Marco Senesi.

Andoni Iraola risks multiple big-name exits at the Vitality Stadium

Football Insider verdict

Kerkez's potential exit should be the least of Iraola's worries this summer, with multiple other players linked with big-money exits as soon as the transfer window swings open.

Liverpool have also been backed to sign Antoine Semenyo by Glen Johnson, with Kluivert also linked with leaving the Vitality after just two campaigns with the Cherries.

The Cherries are wasting no time in seeking new signings, however, with Football Insider understanding that Bournemouth and Tottenham are racing to sign Feyenoord talent Zepiqueno Redmond.

While the 18-year-old has made just nine first-team appearances, his two goals at senior level would certainly show signs of quick progress, and likely a player who can fill gaps if big stars are to leave.

Caoimhin Kelleher has also been heavily linked with the south coast, with Kepa Arrizabalaga set to return to Chelsea at the end of his loan spell, but Iraola needs even more talent if the Cherries are to improve next season.
