Tottenham forward Harry Kane has branded Spurs’ win over Crystal Palace last night as ‘perfect’.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side battled to a hugely important three points as they beat Palace 1-0 at Selhurst Park thanks to a late goal from Christian Eriksen.
The goal, Eriksen’s seventh in the Premier League this term, came in the 78th minute via a fine 30 yard strike and was enough to secure Tottenham a huge three points.
Speaking on Sky Sports after the match, as quoted by the Evening Standard, Kane was pleased with his team’s performance.
He said: “It’s unbelievable. It’s a tough place to come. We had to keep going and keep fighting.

“We knew we had to bounce back after the weekend. We knew if we dug deep we’d get the goal. It was the perfect win.”
After a 4-2 loss to Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final at the weekend it was important for Spurs that they won and kept pace with the Blues at the top of the league.
Their win cut Chelsea’s lead at the top to four points, after Antonio Conte’s side had beaten Southampton 4-2 on Tuesday.
Despite not scoring on Wednesday night, Kane is still in the race for the Premier League golden boot, and currently sits on 20 goals, behind Everton’s Romelu Lukaku, who leads the way with 24.
Kane’s 20 goals have come in just 24 games, and he has also provided six assists.
The 23-year-old also enjoyed fine form in Spurs’ cup competitions too, and netted six goals in his six Champions League and FA Cup appearances.
