Karren Brady lays into Tottenham star player for Twitter post

Karren Brady has laid into Harry Kane for a Twitter message proudly announcing that he had become a father.
The West Ham vice chairman used her weekly newspaper column to criticise the Tottenham talisman for his bad manners and “strangling the English language”.
The Tottenham talisman, who was rested from the team last weekend as they beat Aston Villa 2-0 in the FA Cup, revealed on his personal Twitter account last Sunday night that he and girlfriend Kate Goodland “had our beautiful baby girl, Ivy Jane Kane” earlier that day.
The outspoken Brady was unimpressed at Kane for taking credit for the birth, while also panning his sentence structure.
“Congratulations to Harry Kane for his ‘assist’ in the birth of daughter Ivy Jane . . . but that’s all it was,” wrote Brady in her Sun column on Saturday.

“All the heavy work was done by your girlfriend, Harry — although you might not think so from his tweet that opens ‘Me and @KateGoodlandx had our beautiful baby girl ’.
“The lad wins no points from me for strangling the English language — or for good manners.”
Me and @KateGoodlandx had our beautiful baby girl this morning, Ivy Jane Kane at 7:30am. Weighing 7.8pounds. Amazing feeling, so proud!?❤??

Brady’s criticism of an apparently inoffensive and positive personal message from the England international is unlikely to go down well with Tottenham fans.
Relations between London rivals Spurs and West Ham have taken a nosedive in recent years, partly due to the east Londoners winning the race to rent the Olympic Stadium at a peppercorn price.
That deal was secured by Brady, much to the chagrin of Spurs’ long-serving chairman and negotiator-in-chief Daniel Levy.
Spurs fans can at least take heart from their side’s league position, with the team third in the table ahead of this weekend’s fixtures.
By contrast, West Ham are 13th in the league and still not clear of the relegation zone, and are also facing a mammoth fight to hold on to prize asset Dimitri Payet.
