'Kevin de Bruyne is finished' - Man City fans react to horrific reveal

Man City fans have claimed that Kevin de Bruyne is now “washed” as statistics have shown how injuries have hampered him during the past three seasons.

The Belgium international has only managed to start four games so far this season, playing 401 minutes and providing two goal involvements.

That is an improvement from last season where he started just once and played only 23 minutes between the start of the season and December 1, but both are drastically down from the 2022-23 campaign.

During that season, the 33-year-old made 13 starts, played 1,135 minutes, and provided 12 goal involvements.

The dramatic drop-off in De Bruyne’s availability and impact is evident, but he has dealt with several injury problems in that time which have hampered his progress.

City currently sit fifth in the Premier League table and are without a win in their previous seven matches in all competitions.

Man City supporters believe it’s the end of an era

De Bruyne’s future at the Etihad Stadium is unclear currently as he’s out of contract at the end of the season and he has acknowledged that doesn’t know himself at this stage.

However, City fans believe that he’s “washed” and that people need to admit that De Bruyne’s “finished” at that level.
