'Kick in the teeth' - Exclusive: Bruce 'Feels for Mourinho' after Tottenham player update
Alex Bruce claims the injury to Son Heung-min for Tottenham is “really really bad” for Mourinho with Harry Kane already sidelined until April.
The former Hull City defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs, said the loss of the forwards for Spurs is comparable to Liverpool losing Mane and Salah or City losing Aguero and De Bruyne.
Son, 27, is expected to be out for the rest of the season after he fractured his arm in Sunday’s dramatic win at Villa Park.

The South Korea international scored his second goal of the game in stoppage-time to seal a 3-2 victory over Aston Villa.
When asked how big a blow the injury would be on the Lilywhites this season, Bruce told Football Insider: “Really, really bad.

“To your two best goalscorers out of the team – it would affect anyone. It is like Manchester United losing Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial or Liverpool losing Sadio Mane and Mohammed Salah, City if they lost Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne.
“You have to feel for Mourinho because he has lost his two best players. When you are going for the Champions League spots is a kick in the teeth.”
With England striker, Kane expected to be out until April it is unknown who will lead the Tottenham attack in the immediate future.
The two strikers had scored a combined 33 goals for Spurs this season but it will be up to others to now help Tottenham in their push for the Champions League spots.
