Kieran Maguire drops intriguing Man United claim after £200m+ deal terminated
Man United fans shouldn’t have any fears or worries about their kit or shirt sponsor being sorted before the start of next season.
That is the view of Kieran Maguire, who spoke exclusively to Football Insider about United’s decision to cut ties with current partners TeamViewer.
The Red Devils signed a £235million five-year deal with German company TeamViewer in 2021 to be their front-of-shirt sponsor, but the Premier League side decided to prematurely end their partnership just one year into the contract.
TeamViewer is set to stay on United’s kit until a new sponsor is found, and United are yet to find a new partner with the season coming to an end.
After cutting the deal short, United stated that they “will be taking the opportunity to commence a focused sales process for a new shirt front partner in a normalised market.”
While the Premier League giants are running out of time to find a new sponsor and ensure their new kit is ready for next season, Maguire has told fans that “there is no need to worry”.

“Man United fans need not fear that they will not have a shirt sponsor prepared next season,” Maguire told Football Insider’s Sean Fisher.
“Although the design of the fabric and the colour often take months to sort out in advance, the sponsor’s name is something that can be relatively easily incorporated into the kit.
“There is no need to worry, and we shouldn’t anticipate any problems for Man United getting a sponsor sorted and onto the kit in time.“
