Daniel Sturridge, Philippe Coutinho and Divock Origi could all return to the Liverpool team against West Ham, Jurgen Klopp revealed on Monday.
The trio will all be assessed in training on Monday afternoon before the manager selects his squad for the FA Cup fourth-round replay against West Ham.
Football Insider revealed on Sunday morning that Sturridge, Coutinho and Origi are all set to be named in the squad that travels to Upton Park.
The fixture has suddenly taken on greater significance for the Merseysiders after they collected just one point from their last two Premier League matches to leave them well adrift of the top four.
Manager Klopp is set to ring the changes once again as he navigates a brutal fixture schedule after an inexperienced Liverpool side held West Ham to a goal-less draw in the FA Cup fourth-round match eight days ago.
Sturridge was an unused substitute on Saturday as Liverpool threw away a two-goal lead over Sunderland with 10 minutes left to draw 2-2.
“We haven’t decided yet about a starting line-up. Daniel was fit enough for the bench on Saturday, he was impressive on Friday in training,” explained Klopp at his media briefing on Tuesday.
“I hope to have Divock and Philippe Coutinho in the squad tomorrow. It is complicated because extra-time is possible. They can’t all start together because then we have to make three changes.”
