Koeman delivers Twitter verdict on Everton win v Leicester
By Matt Bullin
Everton boss Ronald Koeman took to Twitter to give his verdict on his side’s 4-2 win over Leicester this afternoon.
Tom Davies gave the Toffees the lead after just 30 seconds as he finished off a fine Kevin Mirallas run.
However the Foxes struck back to take the lead shortly after as Islam Slimani slotted home through Joel Robles’ legs and Marc Albrighton’s free-kick looped in.
Everton then fought back to take a first-half lead as Romelu Lukaku headed home a fine Ross Barkley cross, before Phil Jagielka nodded in, unmarked, from Mirallas’ corner.
Lukaku then doubled his own tally midway through the second period to secure Everton’s victory.

The Dutchman took to Twitter to give his thoughts on his side’s win.
“Comfortable win today,” Koeman wrote on his personal Twitter account.
“We played some fantastic football in the first half and controlled the second.”

The win means Koeman’s side keeps pace with Arsenal and Manchester United.
The Toffees now sit seventh, level on points with the Gunners, though Arsenal do play tomorrow night and have a further two games in hand.
Next up for the Toffees in the Premier League is a home game with Burnley, where they will be looking for back-to-back wins to continue their quest for a top-six finish.
