La Liga expert 'wowed' by 'maverick' ahead of Celtic showdown after early team news
Celtic will have to be “bang at it” to take points from their Europa League group stage opener against Real Betis, according to La Liga expert Kevin Campbell.
The former Arsenal striker, who delivered weekly punditry for La Liga TV last season, exclusively told Football Insider that Celtic’s opponents are a brilliant attacking outfit.
The Hoops travel to Real Betis tomorrow for the first game of Group G in the Europa League.
Ange Postecoglou’s side will be without talismanic summer signing Kyogo Furuhashi after he picked up a knee injury on international duty.
As reported by the Daily Record (13th September), Greg Taylor’s fitness remains a doubt but Anthony Ralston is set to return to the squad.
Campbell insisted Celtic must watch out for Betis attacking midfielder Nabil Fekir, 28.

“Wow, I tell you, this is going to be a really tough game for Celtic,” he told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs. “Betis are a very good side.
“Nabil Fekir and others pose a real threat. They are brilliant going forward. They are strong, can move the ball and love to attack. It is going to be a real tough game for them.
“Fekir is the the main man, the maverick who makes things happen and Celtic will need to stop him. He is a top, top player. He’s direct, can create and can score out of nothing.
“Betis are a serious side. If Celtic are not bang at it then they are in for some big problems.”
