Last chance saloon: Pochettino must give Tottenham outcast one more start before selling
COMMENT By Dominic Toner
Tottenham host Millwall in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Sunday and Moussa Sissoko should be given the opportunity to play for his future.
The 27-year-old has endured a difficult season following his £30million arrival from Newcastle in the summer.
Spurs face League One opposition Millwall in their next game and Mauricio Pochettino needs to name outcast Sissoko in the starting XI.
The Argentinian manager is likely to field a strong line-up as the FA Cup remains their only realistic chance for silverware this season, but should look at giving a few fringe players a run out.
Sissoko certainly needs to be given that opportunity and is in a last chance saloon situation.

The France international was expected to be a hit for the north London club after £30million was splashed out on the midfielder on deadline-day in the summer.
He has been unable to settle at Spurs so far and is without a goal in his 25 appearances.
The powerhouse has not been effective as a right winger or a central attacker, leaving huge questions marks over his future at White Hart Lane.
However, Spurs broke the club-record transfer fee when they signed Sissoko and he can’t be expected to make the desire impact off the bench each game.
The attacking midfielder has proved in the past that he is highly dangerous when he runs at opponents and the Millwall clash could be the perfect chance for him to ignite his Spurs career.
He has certainly not looked the part during his action in the first-team this season, but they took the gamble on him in the transfer window.
Sissoko must be given one more chance before being offloaded.
