Murty favourite reveals surprise plans surrounding potential Rangers summer transfer
Rangers star Sean Goss has said that he plans to make a decision on his future at the club come the end of the season as he confirms his full dedication to his current club.
The midfielder arrived at Ibrox from English Championship Queens Park Rangers in January and has already established himself as a favourite of manager Graeme Murty, appearing in every one of the club’s seven league games since his signing.
Fans would love to see the 22-year-old put pen to paper over a permanent deal, but the German born star insists his focus is on the here and now, and any plans over a future move will be made at the end of the season, surprisingly stating he has not thought too much about what lies ahead for him.
He told Sky Sports: “I have not really thought about it [my future] to be fair.
“I am just focusing on my time at Rangers just now and I am loving my time here – enjoying the opportunity and the faith being shown in me. I am focusing all my game up here at the moment.
“I will think about [the decision in the summer] when it gets to that.”

It is something of a shock to hear that Goss has not spent time thinking about where he wants his career to take him, and it is not the thing that Graeme Murty would want to be hearing. Perhaps he is simply showing respect to his parent club, but there is no doubt Rangers would be keen to bring him to Ibrox on a full time basis if the opportunity was made available. The only fear the Light Blues might have is if he impresses too much, then QPR may well be keen to keep him on and see if he can do the job in England. Either way, it is a situation to keep a very close eye on.
