Lee Hendrie's comments about this Celtic ace are bonkers, Aston Villa fans would agree
COMMENT by Amir Mir
It’s April 1 this Saturday and it seems Lee Hendrie is already trying to fool us with his comments about Celtic ace Scott Sinclair.
The former Premier League midfielder believes Sinclair should be picked to play for England following his performances for Celtic this season.
Hendrie stated that he cannot see why Gareth Southgate would not pick a player who is scoring goals and creating chances.
But it seems Hendrie has actually forgotten the level Sinclair has been playing at this term and the non-existent performances he produced for Villa during the previous campaign.
Versatile attacker Sinclair failed to feature regularly for a Villa side that won only three Premier League games during their disastrous relegation.

The 28-year-old scored only two goals during that humiliating season and those strikes came in one match against Sunderland in August.
Villa supporters would agree that the comments by Holte End favourite Hendrie are absolute bonkers because of the pitiful displays they would have seen from Sinclair last term.
He showed at a much tougher level in England that he couldn’t deal with the pressure, nor produce the goods on a regular basis against much better opponents.
Therefore, scoring 15 goals in a league where Celtic are not just expected to win the title, but take the league by storm, unfortunately, downgrades his performances.
Credit for producing the goods in Scotland, but scoring just 13 goals in 119 Premier League matches suggests what level Sinclair is at and it definitely isn’t the international level.
