Leeds United have confirmed that Pierre-Michel Lasogga has stepped up his recovery from injury ahead of their clash with Norwich at Elland Road on Saturday.
Lasogga, 25, has missed over a months’ worth of action resulting in spending five matches on the sidelines with what was originally an illness before he picked up a leg injury.
The Whites confirmed the major boost on their official Twitter account on Wednesday afternoon, showing a picture of the striker in training as he aims to return from his lengthy setback.

Lasogga has been a key part of the Leeds first-team since arriving on loan from Hamburg in August, making 11 appearances across all competitions scoring five goals.
However although he was previously Thomas Christiansen’s No 1 choice to lead the line of attack, he may struggle to get back there after Leeds’ form improved dramatically since his injury.
In the five game the German has missed, the Yorkshire giants have won three and drawn one after losing five of six Championship games before.
Caleb Ekuban and Jay-Roy Grot are also sidelined with injury meaning that Pawel Cibicki and Kemar Roofe are Christiansen’s only options to start up front.
Having Lasogga back to fitness will no doubt be a major boost to the squad, especially with a hectic festive schedule on the horizon as Leeds look to force their way up the Championship table after a miserable couple of months.
